This full-day symposium focuses on building Occupational Therapists' professional capacity in the growing practice area of Home Modifications. Bridging the gap between the construction business and healthcare, we explore technical requirements and collaborations that are essential to any Home Modifications project. With product exhibitor interaction, clinical case studies and Ask the Expert discussions, participants will come away with new knowledge and skills to leverage their impact on home modification projects and optimize client outcomes!

  • Canadian Home Modification market updates, Occupational Therapy Home Assessment methods and innovations, team roles and essential collaborations

  • Construction drawings, scope of work documentation and pricing comparisons to help funders make informed decisions

  • Home modification solutions for people with disabilities of all ages, common aging in place solutions and informed decision making about whether to "Modify or Move".
